Willows Rise Alternative Provision

Willows Rise Alternative Provision offers children with social, emotional, or mental health challenges a nurturing and supportive educational environment where they can develop the skills they need to succeed academically and socially.  Through personalised learning, therapeutic support, and community-based interventions, AP helps children build emotional regulation, pro-social behaviours, and resilience—tools that will serve them well in both their education and their wider lives.

Some children experience barriers to attending mainstream schools due to social, emotional, or mental health (SEMH) difficulties.  These difficulties may range from anxiety, depression, trauma, or attachment issues, to behavioural challenges, making it hard for them to thrive in a traditional school environment.

For these children, an Alternative Provision (AP) offers a supportive and flexible approach to learning outside the mainstream school system. Willows Rise AP provides personalised, therapeutic interventions and education, with a focus on emotional regulation, social skills, and well-being. Helping children gain ambition for themselves and developing the confidence and skills to reach these ambitions.
